Smithsburg Youth Lacrosse (SYLC) is a non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to promote the game of lacrosse in the Town of Smithsburg and the surrounding community.  SYLC was created to allow young athletes the opportunity to play together and learn the fundamentals of teamwork necessary to be successful as they move on to Smithsburg High School.  SYLC strives to instill the values of sportsmanship, respect, teamwork, fair play, and a love of the sport of lacrosse for both their players and coaches.  Smithsburg Youth Lacrosse is an active member of the Western Maryland Youth Lacrosse Conference and the Positive Coaching Alliance.
